Bio
William White is a guitarist based in the Northern Virginia Area. He began playing guitar at age 12, winding his way from Rock to Blues to Classical and Jazz guitar styles. Pursuing an education in music, William earned his Bachelor's Degree in Music Performance with a specialty in Classical Guitar from the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, VA. He found himself performing in various rock and jazz groups as well as classical solo and ensemble performances. Following graduation, in addition to teaching guitar and bass in the Tidewater area of Virginia William joined the group Man Mountain Jr.-a Funk/Rock/Hip Hop/Jam band -and toured the East Coast for several years supporting various national acts and releasing several EP’s. Lately he can be found performing as a solo singer-songwriter, solo Classical and Jazz guitarist, with fronting his own band playing Rock covers and originals. Additionally, he currently is working on a studio project consisting of original material.
